Ever wonder if the various departments within your company match up with one another? How far are they apart? Do you have unbilled revenue because one department leaves off before another department picks up?
Features
UsageWorks Reconciliation reports are designed to identify process gaps in order to ensure the maximum billed usage possible.
- Identifies gaps between what is billed to end users and carriers and what is recorded on the switch.
- Highlights any other billing anomaly that the general reports could not identify. An example is where the switch is recording the terminating number in the originating number field.
- Provides information to the network and finance departments to make certain all switch recordings are being generated in the correct manner. It also can be used to ensure that both the billing system and the switches have all of the customer information loaded accurately.
- Identifies gaps in both quantity and quality of data recorded by the switch.
- Highlights any other recording anomaly that the general reports could not identify. An example is where the signal generated as Toll Free but the call inaccurately recorded as direct dialed.
- Provides information that can be used to repair switch programming such that all processes are recording calls in accordance with the information contained on the SS7 record. It can also be used to ensure all AMA records are enriched with all of the information available from the SS7 record.
- Identifies gaps between calls recorded by the switch and records included in the LEC DUF file.
- Provides information that can be used to dispute the records provided by the LEC. Further, this process can be modified to produce an enriched call detail file combining the best data available on the AMA record with the carrier identification information from the LEC file.
